The Wolfgang Pauli School of Art, Science, In/formation (wps-asci) is planned as a postgraduate institute.

"Art" should no longer be available as a prime- or singular subject of studies.

The wps-asci wants to introduce a new kind of education (eduction) in art related areas and arays. The radius of included and presented topics will go beyond the traditional disciplines and technics of art, not only in its contents but also in the way of teaching and the transfer of knowledge. this new type of art related studies is comparable it its concentrated format with postgraduate science courses and also high powered sports and/or elite troopers training, The ambition/aim of the wps-asci is two fold:

* to change the horizon of art by overlay effects and interference from scientific working methods and -principles.
* and by offering through the contact with new art related models potentials of critical self reflection for the sciences involved in the curriculum.

The wps-asci also represents an independent center for art related research and advanced studies. An international consulting board - composed of representatives of arts and sciences - will make suggestions for the course programm. To obtain a broad and dynamic programme only short termed jobs are offered to the teaching artists/practinioners, researchers and scientists. For the presence of advanced technologies, the wps-asci will try to involve the industry in a more direct collaboration to present continuously their most advanced soft and hardware products - especially at early stages of developement to allow dynamical interactive dialogs and discussion. (nasa did involve art school departments to develope the graphic surfaces for satellite surveillance and also the programmes to operate the data flow from the hubble telescope). In that sense the wps-asci is free of machinery and dust collecting gimmicks: no accumulation of fast aging means of production on this premises.

The wps-asci plans
* a network with schools, of similar structures either in the process of developement or already installed:
* and a kind of touring theory shuttle (TTS): where multipresentation in different art schools make the preparation of new lectures by indipendent authors, researchers and artists both financially and structurally possible. The connected researchlabs will thus arrive at a fast exchange of different forms of dis course and debate.
Parallel and at the same time an intensive exchange programme for students and teachers mainly between the network of art schools is in operation, as well as an effort to increase the network itself. To achieve a greater public awareness for the new instrument in art-related studies the wps-asci plans to award biennually a Wolfgang Pauli prize of art, science, in/formation. Finally it has been suggested that the house that Ludwig Wittgenstein built for his siter in Vienna in 1926-1928 would provide the ideal environment for wps-asci. As the house is currently property of the Bulgarian State, and due to lack of maintenance already in a rather critical state, it was considered to completely reconstruct / rebuilt the Wittgenstein house in a new location, preferably outside of austria. Wolfgang Pauli 1900_1958, born in Vienna, studied with Sommerfeld in Munich. Formulated important bases of quantum physics (Pauli-Principle) and predicts end of the 20ties the 'neutrino' as a subatomic particle. Receives the Nobelprize in 1945.Due to his super critical habits, theoretical ambitions and demands for scientific purity he was named 'conscience of physics'.
